The Safari Soiree
A wilderness escape is one that is very near and dear to my heart. The lush forests, the sounds of the jungle, the beauty of its animals- going on safaris is one of my favourite vacations I take yearly. Over the years I have kept translating my love for the jungle in different ways on my tabletop - using tableware and objects that either remind me of my time or that I have collected from my vacations! Bringing the jungle alive on my table is one of my favorite tablescapes to experiment with.
I’ve put together a themed tablescape filled with some of my favorite pieces from the different collections we have at Plate and Peonie. From an eclectic mix of whimsical accents, lush greens, and animal themed tableware, each piece effortlessly plays its part in the experience of transporting you straight into the wild. See below for the pieces I used to make this soiree a jungle camp on my dining table!
Some P&P Tips & Tricks:
- 1. I would always use tropical greens on the table instead of flowers!
- 2. Wooden tableware always elevates the jungle experience
- 3. I recommend experimenting with your materials like jute, ceramic and rattan. Let your imagination run as wild, just like the jungle!
